Rigbook

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026

In short: Rigbook keeps your maintenance records on your phone. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or remote crash reporting, and the app does not request internet access.

What the app stores

Rigbook stores your vehicles, maintenance tasks, service records, meter readings, checklist entries, settings and attached photos locally on your device. We do not collect or share this information.

Notifications and photos

Notifications are optional and are generated on your device. Photos are selected using Android's picker or camera app and copied into private app storage. Rigbook does not request access to your whole photo library.

Exports and backups

You control exports and backups. PDF, CSV and ZIP files go to the location or app you choose. Optional automatic backup writes weekly ZIP snapshots to a folder you grant access to. A cloud storage provider may upload files you place in its folder under its own privacy policy.

Android may also back up the database, settings and photos or transfer them to another device according to your system backup settings. We do not receive those backups. Automatic backups depend on Android background scheduling and folder availability; check the backup status in Settings.

ZIP backups are not encrypted by Rigbook, so choose a storage location you trust. Restoring a ZIP replaces existing app records.

Ratings and support

Contact support and the feedback option of the rating prompt open your email app. If you send us an email, we receive your address and the contents you choose to send, and use them to respond to your request. Do not send private vehicle details unless needed for support.

If you choose to rate Rigbook, Google Play's in-app review screen or the Play Store listing opens. Your rating and review go to Google Play under Google's privacy policy; we only see what Google Play publishes. Rigbook stores on your device only whether and when it asked, so it doesn't ask again.

Deleting your data

You can edit or delete records in the app. Uninstalling removes local app data. Separately exported files and system backups must be deleted through their storage provider or Android settings.

Children's privacy

Rigbook is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

Changes to this policy will be reflected in its effective date on this page.
